ANNUAL TOWN BUDGET MEETINGThe voters and electors of the Town of Washington are hereby warned that the Annual Town Budget Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at Bryan Memorial Town Hall, Washington Depot, Connecticut to consider and act upon the following:
1. To consider and act upon the proposed General Fund Expenses and Transfers for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
2. To consider and act upon the proposed Nonrecurring Capital Expenses for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
3. To consider and act upon the Town of Washington's Housing Commission request for $100,000 from the Housing Fund to be used for the Down Payment Assistance Program.Following the adjournment of the Annual Town Budget Meeting, there will be an opportunity for discussion of a new Senior Center for the Town. NO ACTION will be taken on this item.
